Guest artist: My Friend June Paints 1 Corinthians 13:2

I mentioned my friend June in my last post. She’s been my artistic cohort over the last few months. Having the support of a fellow artist makes the creative process more enjoyable. This holds true in a lot of areas of life including the Christian’s walk of faith.

We need each other. God knows that. That’s why He tells us over and over to love one another.

June is helping me illustrate 1 Corintians 13. I illustrated verse one and she has done the same with verse two.

As I thought about this post, my hands in soapy dish water, I realized – I am nothing. 1 Corintians 13:2 tells us that without love, we are nothing. I know that Janelle, in and of herself, cannot truly love. Therefore, Janelle is nothing. Only through Jesus can I love. With God, all things are possible. (Matthew 19:26)

Enjoy June’s work below.
